Membership Rules
- Membership is open to anyone who lives within the Club catchment area. Our membership fees are here.
Membership implies acceptance of and commitment to, the Club rules and Constitution. - Meetings are held on Wednesdays, except for Easter and August, starting at 7pm, at Plas Pentwyn Community Centre, Castle Road, Coedpoeth, LL11 3NU.
- New members who join part way through a season, between January and the end of April, will have their annual fee reduced by 50%, and in May to the end of June to 25% of the full fee. Anyone joining in July will pay the full amount, but that will carry over to the following year. Prospective members or visitors can attend two meetings a year with no fee, but membership is required after that.
- Members shall at all times respect all other members, and treat them in a friendly, non-judgemental manner.
- The business of the Club is conducted in English.
- At all times members and visitors are responsible for their own safety and property. The Club has an insurance policy which would cover any loss of Club property, and a liability for any claim which may arise due to a failing of the Club.

Competition Rules
To enter any form of Club competition, the entrant must be a fully paid-up member of the Club as of the date of the competition.
Member judged competitions
These competitions will have a given subject, and entries are made directly to the Pixoroo competition page, via the Competition tab on the Club website. Closing date will be the Sunday prior to the competition.
A maximum of 3 entries per person, in PDI JPEG format, sized to a maximum of 1600px X 1200px, with the vertical dimension never to exceed 1200px. Also each entry to be under 2MB and to be titled with no more than 30 characters including spaces. No watermark, or other identifying mark, is to be visible on the image file.
Work that has been entered in any previous club competition will be ineligible, although it could have been shown in the monthly challenges.
Guest judged competitions
Print entries are required for these competitions. There will be a maximum of 4 entries per member, with 2 for the set subject and 2 in an open category. The closing date for these externally judged competitions will be the Sunday that is 2 weeks prior to the competition. PDI versions of the prints need to be uploaded to Pixoroo, in the format shown above, to enable the image to be projected while the print is being judged, and the score to be recorded.
Prints can be any size but need to be mounted in a mount of 50cm x 40cm, with a backing sheet to hold the print in place. Each print is to be titled on the back at the top right-hand corner, but no name or any other mark is to be made. Again, the title must be restricted to 30 characters, which includes spaces, to enable it to show in full on the competition website.
The same applies as with the member judged competitions and must not have been entered in any previous club competition, whether in print or PDI format, but could have been included in the monthly challenges or in a Club exhibition.
